Walking Roots

The video installation titled Walking Roots depicts the participants of the common ground artist residency carrying a 80 kilo tree for 3 hours and 7km through the city of Berlin. While carrying the tree, the participants share poems of their roots. Through sharing, their roots become intertwined. It is an intimate view into the intangible and enduring bond that was forged between them.

The video installation will be displayed at the Different but Equal art Festival in Pisa, Italy from 5-30 October.
